Vice President of Marketing

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives, as well as the management of Katun’s Corporate Marketing Organization. This is a newly created executive role within our organization, offering an exciting opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented marketing leader to make a significant impact on our brand positioning, market share, and revenue growth. The successful candidate will work closely with other cross-functional teams, including Sales and Executive Leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategies and Planning:
    • Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies that encompass all aspects of the marketing mix.
    • Identify and assess new vertical channel opportunities and adjacent product categories.
    • Define and execute the brand positioning and messaging strategy to enhance market presence and drive brand awareness.
    • Lead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and product development.
    • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, advertising, social media, email marketing, content marketing, events, and PR.
    • Utilize data analytics and marketing performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the company’s marketing strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and foster a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional development and maximize their potential.
    • Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively, tracking return on investment and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, and industry influencers, to drive collaborative marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Sales to develop effective sales enablement tools, materials, and programs to support the achievement of sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge and Market Intelligence:
    • Drive the development and optimization of the company’s website and online ordering portal, ensuring it serves as an effective platform for lead generation, customer engagement, brand representation, and business generation.
    • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including customer insights, competitor analysis, and industry trends, to inform product development and marketing strategies.
    • Ensure effective communication and alignment between the corporate marketing team, regional business units, and Product Development, providing input on market needs and competitive landscape.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute overall business strategies that align with market demands and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the office equipment or technology industry, with experience in OEM marketing.
  • Experience in the office equipment printing market, particularly with an OEM background, is highly preferred. Demonstrated understanding of OEM business models and the ability to develop marketing strategies that support OEM partnerships and channels. Familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities that come with marketing OEM products.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that have driven business growth and revenue.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation.
  • Proficient in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools.

Work Schedule and Physical Requirements*:

  • This is a full-time position, with a work schedule of approximately 40 hours per week. Our corporate office team works in a hybrid model with Mondays remote, Tuesday through Thursday in office and Fridays remote.
  • The role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 20 pounds.
